ANAMNESIS / EMBODIED SPIRITUALITY WORKSHOP IN DELPHI
Connecting art and spirituality, It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 3-day Anamnesis embodied spirituality workshop in the sacred site of Delphi, Greece, immediately after the Spring Equinox and under the energy of the very powerful Total Solar Eclipse and New Moon on April 8.
Our workshop will start from the holy waters of Thermopylae thermal springs, to purify body and spirit and will continue in the Cave of Pan (Korycian cave), the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia, the Sanctuary of Apollo, and some stunning locations in Delphi.
In the imposing natural landscape formed between two mysterious rocks, the Phaedriades, is the ancient Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi and the most famous oracle of the ancient Greek world, where, according to Mythology, Apollo returned and brought the Light. The energetic but also mysterious place of Delphi even today uniquely touches the soul.
This is also the purpose of our work together, to cleanse the limited personality, to strengthen the relationship with our higher self through experiential practices that combine Logos, Movement, and Music, and to receive the guidance we need to bring more light and love in our lives.
The total solar eclipse on 4/8/2024 is perhaps the most anticipated and energetically powerful event of 2024 and coincides with the New Moon in Aries. We will work on these cosmic energies to see what we need to leave behind in both the emotional and energetic cycles of our lives and align our energy field to a new archetypal path aligned with our soul, to materialize the maximum of our potential and our talents.

"Anamnesis" is the method that Apostolia Papadamaki has developed over the last 10 years creating site-specific ceremonial works in important archaeological sites of Greece where contemporary performing arts interact with ancient mysticism through Speech, Movement, and Music and create a thread that connects the public to the museum exhibits in a symbiotic relationship with the past, present and future.
A pioneering approach to the universal values of harmony, spirituality, and the interplay between the natural and the supernatural, which incorporates the horizon of time into a fluid circularity balancing the opposition between past, present, and future.
The driving force behind the Anamnesis method is Plato's philosophical notion that we humans possess an innate knowledge called "idea" that resides in the heavenly realms and we can access it by "remembering" through archetypal movements, sounds, forms, and words.

Transportation
You need to arrive in Athens at the latest on April 4th, 2024. Our transportation to Delphi will be early morning on April 5th, either by carpooling or by bus.
Cancelation Policy
Any cancellation will result in a total loss of €600 of your first deposit. Any cancellation made until June 4th, 2024 will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation made between June 5th, 2024, and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds.

Embodied Spirituality Mentor & Ancient Greek Wisdom Keeper
Apostolia is an internationally acclaimed choreographer/director and an Ancient Greek Wisdom Keeper. She is the creator of the ceremonial site-specific performances called Anamnesis.
She is also a mindfulness and embodied spirituality mentor, and the founder of The Happiness Retreat.
Her artistic work and teaching method Anamnesis is inspired by her lifelong research on Ancient Greek Mythology, Rituals, Philosophy, Drama, and History, linked with archetypical themes. Her work has been presented in more than 15 Archeological sites of Greece and numerous festivals around the world.
She studied Sports Science at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Dance at the State School of Dance of Greece, earned a BA in choreography in New York under scholarships of the Onassis Foundation and the Goulandris Foundation, as well as well-being modalities such as Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga, and Breath-work.
Creative, Innovative, Hardworking, Visionary, and Collaborative, Apostolia has extensive experience in conceiving, choreographing, and directing large-scale artistic projects, corporate events, opera, and film.
Since 2010 she has developed a powerful holistic wellness technology combining all her skills, facilitating workshops, training, and retreats for individuals, groups, companies, and organizations.
Being a visionary artist, a polymath, and a humanitarian with outstanding organizational and administrative skills, she served as a Member of the Board of Directors at The Athens Concert Hall (2016-2019), as the President of the Board of the State School of Dance (2004-2006). She has been leading several EU Creative Europe programs collaborating with many European countries.
