This retreat was deeply spiritual, but grounded in reality, grounded in the body, and being human.

The Blue Bliss Happiness retreat was deeply spiritual, but grounded in reality, grounded in the body, and being human.

The Yoga class was wonderful! I have no traditional yoga background, yet I felt at ease approaching the practice, and felt more comfortable with each day. I loved the open form of Spirit Contact Dance and how close it felt to ecstatic. I really appreciated the varying locations, and in particular, the intentions as they changed with each dance. They were compelling, and were key to my appreciation of the practice.

I adored the excursions, the sunrise meditation, and dancing in honor of Keros (so, so, so important to me). Singing was also incredibly powerful, and felt very unifying for the group.

Some of the gifts that were important to me were the regular practices that the retreat instilled in me; meditating regularly and doing regularly felt incredibly grounding, and continuing it after the retreat has provided that sense of serenity I was looking to preserve. Also, the concept of ritualistically healing the body, by lighting incense, a candle, with intentions, and then approaching the bodywork aspect in that container was an excellent model.

I absolutely enjoyed Koufonisi Island. The balance between masculine and feminine on the island, the serenity of the island, the quietness, the openness, the friendliness, the food, were all absolutely stellar. The Food was absolutely amazing too!
