We, the people of The Happiness Retreat, have always been travellers, explorers and nature lovers. For years we have been gathering wonderful experiences from various areas of Greece; vibrant islands, healing forests, relaxing waterfalls, traditional villages, transcending mountainous areas, and more. We use our long personal knowledge to select and present the most suitable locations for our body and spiritual journeys. From each location we select the purest environments, the most interesting sights and the most suitable facilities. Those our combined to create the ideal conditions that host our vision: Happiness.

A blue paradise in the heart of the Aegean.

Koufonisi (meaning hollow island) was given the name as the huge caves convinced the pirates that the island was hollow when observed from the sea.

It is one of the smallest of the Cyclades inhabited islands (400 residents), thus the natural beauty and its traditional color remains unfaded. You can walk around the island in 1h, passing Pori, Finikas, Italida, Spilia and Ammos beaches. You’d think cars are non-existent as most people walk or cycle the island. A peaceful place for complete relaxation.

Donousa island was named after Dionysus, the ancient Greek God of wine and euphoria. A tiny unspoiled gem of the small cyclades island group, Donousa is very small with about 150 permanent residents and 250 cats. It has a main road of 13 km that connects all the villages with the port. Ideal for hiking among the thick scent of wild Greek herbs which fill the air, the island has magnificent sandy beaches and turquoise crystal clear waters.
