Meet your teacher / Apostolia Papadamaki
I am Apostolia Papadamaki, an internationally acclaimed choreographer, a transformational retreat leader, and an embodied spirituality master teacher.
I studied Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Yoga, and Alexander Technique in New York. As a lover of healing arts, and spirituality, I am trained in Shamanism, Meditation, Breathwork, Music, Voice, Diving, Craniosacral Therapy, and Rei-Ki collaborating with inspiring artists, healers, and teachers in many lands. I love to dream and I believe in infinite possibilities.
My highest intention is to keep opening the eyes of the soul and tuning into the frequency of Love no matter how life challenges me. The Happiness Retreat is an open-hearted invitation to share knowledge, experience, and joy with beautiful souls like you!

Meet your guest teacher / Nikos Polychronides
Nikos Polychronidis has been involved in the research, study and promotion of the African percussion instruments of West Africa to the wider public since 2000. He began his studies in Athens at the "Taki's Percussion School" where he specialized in djembe and doundoun. He then developed knowledge in modern and classical percussion (Filippos Nakas Conservatory, Moschatos Municipal Conservatory) with teachers Petros Kourtis and Konstantinos Vorissis, while at the same time he participated in educational seminars with Ponda o Braian, Drissa Conne, Reiner Polak etc.
Since 2009 he has been traveling to the birthplaces of djembe music (Mali, Bourkina Faso) and since 2012 he has been working steadily with djembe grand master Harouna Dembele.
In January 2012, together with Stavros Dadous, he founded the "pangea world music center" whose main goals are the promotion and dissemination of various art forms to the wider Greek public and the promotion of Greek cultural wealth abroad.
From 2006 until today, he has taken part in a significant number of concerts, the highlight of which was the organization and participation of the festival "ritual drum festival"

We ground ourselves, shaking and pulsing, releasing the tension, increasing blood circulation, and connecting with the cosmic energy of the Earth. Our breath expands into sound and our voice can be liberated. We enter a state of profound soul connection establishing a deep level of freedom - we reach our euphoric state of being.
We will sit in a circle as a tribe, holding a safe and sacred space for one another. We will drum together remembering our tribal roots. We will learn how to speak words of gratitude, share our intentions for new beginnings and set the foundation for our soul to give us what we need at the present moment in time.
Movement, breath, rhythm, pulse, sentient motion, sound, and voice practices will create a heartfelt space where the mind forms and borders are not leaders anymore, where freedom of expression is unconditional.
We will guide you on how to be happy to be seen, to be heard, and to be free to express yourself through voice and movement, harmonizing body, mind, and soul so you can embody your true loving nature.
Our circle will support you to be "ridiculously" creative, to express yourself in ways you can never imagine, to find the courage to “fail” and create again and again and again until you are happy and free because you will feel this amazing trust in the beautiful unknown you!

Our vegetarian nutrition will follow the philosophy of self-sufficiency and sustainability, with fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden of Re-green, cultivated with love and care. How to get there
From Athens, Greece
Carpooling (if there is space) with participants that travel from Athens.
We will organize our transfer in the best and more convenient way for everybody, sharing transportation expenses.
Public Transportation
From the Athens Airport take the Airport Express Bus X93 that leaves at
approx. every 20 minutes from the Airport and go to the Kifisos
Intercity Bus Station (1h trip). At Kifisos catch a bus to Akrata which leaves almost every half hour (2hr trip). The Regreen team will pick you up from Akrata Village and take you to Regreen (30min drive) at a small cost.
