Με μεγάλη χαρά σας προσκαλούμε στο Spirit of Love, ενα τριήμερο Retreat, σχεδιασμένο ειδικά για όσους θέλουν να καλλιεργήσουν την εμπιστοσύνη στον εαυτό τους και να συνδεθούν με την ομορφιά της ψυχής τους.

Η διαμονή μας, στο πανέμορφο Re-green, μόλις δύο ώρες απο την Αθήνα, μέσα σε ένα εκπληκτικής ομορφιάς τοπίο, με τρεχούμενα νερά και καταπράσινα βουνά, θα μας δώσει την ευκαιρία να ενωθούμε με την μητέρα Φύση, μαθαίνοντας πώς μπορούμε να αντλούμε απίστευτη ροη, προσαρμοστικότητα και ζωτική ενέργεια και να ενσωματώνουμε αστείρευτη δοτικότητα και αγάπη προς τον εαυτό μας.

Χρησιμοποιώντας την Αναπνοή, την Φωνή και την Κίνηση θα δημιουργήσουμε έναν απέραντο χώρο ελευθερίας και αυθεντικής έκφρασης. Θα διευρύνουμε τις αισθήσεις μας κάνοντας τις πρακτικές μας μέσα στην Φύση, και μέσα απο ρυθμούς, παλμούς, ήχους, σωματικές και φωνητικές ασκήσεις θα πάρετε όλα τα εργαλεία που χρειάζεστε ώστε να απελευθερώσετε τη δημιουργικότητά σας και να αγαπήσετε τον αυθεντικό εαυτό σας.

Γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη, μεγάλωσε στην Αλεξανδρούπολη, αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το Α.Π.Θ. Θεσσαλονίκης και την Κρατική Σχολή Ορχηστικής Τέχνης. Σπούδασε χορογραφία, Σύγρονο Χορό, Contact Improvisation, Yoga και Τεχνική Alexander στην Ν. Υόρκη με υποτροφία των ιδρυμάτων Α. Ωνάσης και Β & Ε Γουλανδρή. Βραβεία: Ραλλού Μάνου, Bagnolet (Γαλλία).

Εχει χορογράφησει και σκηνοθετήσει μεγάλα θεάματα όπως την Τελετή έναρξης των Παραολυμπιακών Αγώνων Αθήνας 2004 και είναι γνωστή για τις πρωτοποριακές και αντισυμβατικές της ιδέες όπως η πρώτη υποβρύχια παράσταση χορού στον κόσμο με τίτλο Drops of Breath (Ενάλιος χώρος Ναού Ποσειδώνα, Σούνιο) και Anamnesis, μια πολυσύνθετη μορφή παραστασης Ύπνου και Ονείρων, συμμετοχική με το κοινό, σε πολυ σημαντικούς αρχαιολογικoύς χώρους. (Ναός Επικούριου Απόλλωνα 2018, Δήλος 2019, Δελφοί 2020)

Μελετάει εφ όρου ζωής την σχέση της ανθρώπινης ψυχής με την Φύση και τον κόσμο που μας περιβάλλει μέσω της αρχαίας ελληνικής παιδείας αλλα και άλλων πνευματικών δρόμων. Έχει εκπαιδευθεί στη Μουσική, Φωνή, Διαλογισμό, Ρεικι, Κρανιοιερη θεραπεια, αυτόνομη καταδυση, πολεμικές τέχνες και έχει συνεργαστεί με εκπληκτικούς καλλιτέχνες και δασκάλους απο όλο τον κόσμο.

Το 2013 συνέθεσε την Βιωματική Ανατομία, μια μέθοδο που συνδιάζει εμπειρική γνώση της λειτουργίας του σκελετού και τον οστών μας, σε συνδιασμό με συνειδητή αναπνοη, μηχανική της κίνησης και στοχεύει στην εναρμόνιση σώματος, νού και ψυχής.

Το 2016 ίδρυσε το Happiness Retreat, μια εμπειρία προσωπικής μεταμόρφωσης που συνδιάζει ολιστικά όλες τις διδασκαλίες της καθώς και την βαθειά σχέση με την Φύση.

Τα καλλιτεχνικά της έργα της έχουν παρουσιαστεί στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, την Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή, Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών, Φεστιβάλ Καλαμάτας, Θέατρο Θησείον, Σύγχρονο Θέατρο Αθήνας, αλλά και σε 20 χώρες σε όλο τον κόσμο, με το χοροθεάτρο Quasi Stellar, σε σημαντικά Ευρωπαϊκά και Διεθνή φεστιβάλ.

Διετέλεσε πρόεδρος του Δ.Σ. της Κρατικής Σχολής Ορχηστικής Τέχνης, μέλος του Δ.Σ του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Αθηνών, Κέντρου Αρχαίου Δράματος, Διεθνές Ινστιτούτο Θεάτρου, Δίκτυο για το Θέατρο στην Εκπαίδευση και μέλος τηςκαλλιτεχνικης επιτροπής του φεστιβάλ Δημήτρια στην Θεσσαλονίκη.

Meet your teacher / Apostolia Papadamaki

I am Apostolia Papadamaki, an internationally acclaimed choreographer, a transformational retreat leader, and an embodied spirituality master teacher.

I studied Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Yoga, and Alexander Technique in New York. As a lover of healing arts, and spirituality, I am trained in Shamanism, Meditation, Breathwork, Music, Voice, Diving, Craniosacral Therapy, and Rei-Ki collaborating with inspiring artists, healers, and teachers in many lands. I love to dream and I believe in infinite possibilities.

My highest intention is to keep opening the eyes of the soul and tuning into the frequency of Love no matter how life challenges me. The Happiness Retreat is an open-hearted invitation to share knowledge, experience, and joy with beautiful souls like you!

We will organize our transfer in the best and more convenient way for everybody, sharing transportation expenses.

Public Transportation
From the Athens Airport take the Airport Express Bus X93 that leaves at
approx. every 20 minutes from the Airport and go to the Kifisos
Intercity Bus Station (1h trip). At Kifisos catch a bus to Akrata which leaves almost every half hour (2hr trip).

I am Maria and I navigate through life with music. I sing, I compose songs and I love to teach people how to discover their own authentic voice. Although I am a very shy person, I transform when I go on stage, which is the most magical thing in the world and the way I do it is by connecting to my innermost instinct as a tool to harmonize my body, my vocal cords and my emotions.

The voice for me is a mystical vibration through the spaces of our body and an amazing tool to connect with our deepest self expressing freely our emotions.

Up to now, I have released 6 personal albums, based on originally composed songs, unreleased live recordings, a collectible vinyl entitled “3 Degrees” writing my own lyrics and compositions and ”Correspondence”, my most recent work, collaborating with famous Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis.

I have been collaborating with Apostolia for many years now and I can't wait to share our "alchemy" with you!

Meet your teacher

I am Apostolia Papadamaki, an internationally acclaimed choreographer, performer, and a transformational retreat leader and teacher. I studied Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation, Yoga and Alexander Technique in New York. As a lover of healing arts, and spirituality, I am trained in Shamanism, Music, Voice, Diving, Craniosacral Therapy, and Rei-Ki collaborating with inspiring artists, healers, and teachers in many lands. I love to Dream and I believe in infinite possibilities. My highest intention is to keep opening the eyes of the soul and tuning into the frequency of Love no matter how life challenges me. The Happiness Retreat is an open-hearted invitation to share knowledge, experience, and joy with beautiful souls like you!

Teachings/Practices

Yoga

In our Hatha Yoga practice - a unifying blend of Breath Work, Asanas, Biomatic Anatomy & Meditation - we will focus on our base (1st) chakra, deepen our knowledge for our pelvis, liberate the hip joints and enjoy standing strongly in our two feet. We will aim to root like the Trees and free our upper body to connect with the Sun, practicing daily, graceful movement sequences, details of physical and esoteric physiology and therapeutic relaxation techniques.

Guided meditations and drum journeys will lead you into the deepest self-insights and most powerful dream states at the end of our morning Yoga class.

Spirit Contact Dance

We ground ourselves, shaking and pulsing, release tension, increasing blood circulation and connecting with the cosmic energy of the Earth. Our breath expands into sound and our voice can be liberated. We enter a state of profound soul connection establishing a deep level of freedom - we reach our euphoric state of being.

Weather permitted we will practice Water Spirit Contact Dance on a natural pond. An aquatic bodywork that will enable you to embody the art of true belonging and trust oneness in the fluidity of the sea. Water is conductive so it can help us remember our true nature, it can facilitate a rebirth experience. While floating in the water, the absence of gravity releases our vertebrae and allows our spine to move in ways that are not possible on the land.

During the intensive Biomatic Anatomy seminar our body has the chance to deeply relax and rest. Therefore it needs a very light, gentle diet to allow the joints and vital organs to rest and rejuvenate. Would you like to celebrate the New Moon and the Autumnal Equinox in a stunning waterfall plunging down from the sky? To purify and heal by creating a pilgrimage with all the ‘falling leaves ‘ (that don’t serve you anymore,) calling the Autumn in the abundant Forrest? To re-discover your inner child singing with birds, air, scents, textures and sights around you?

Lets celebrate this amazing seasonal transition, kindling our inner light of wisdom and courage at The Happiness Retreat/Waterfall Spirit.

And yes! We will nurture our bodies with Yoga and Impulse Dance at the beautiful natural -build Malo

ka but we will also take the time to align with the Waterfall Spirit that represents Yin and Yang and is considered the symbol of impermanence. We will open ourselves to the spiritual possibilities of fall, reconnecting with the seasons as we inhale the continuous water flow sound and exhale the whispering voice of the leaves. The great wisdom of nature will impart to us.

Our Yoga, Dance & Music Shala

Our practice room is an impressive Maloca of a 100 sq. meters, built on the principles of different cob techniques, with a riveting self-supporting roof.

Temazcal

A hand made steam lodge. The word Temazcal means "house of heat". Used to cleanse the body after exercise, for the treatment of diseases and improve overall health.
